Harmonious Space Planning Inspired by European Aesthetics

The newly designed canteen at EISHCM is more than just a dining space — it serves as a vibrant social hub for students, staff, and visitors. The interior layout prioritizes openness, fluid circulation, and accessibility, allowing users to move comfortably during peak hours. The spatial organization takes into account various group sizes, offering both communal tables and smaller, more intimate seating options.

Visually, the design pays homage to traditional European charm while maintaining a clean, modern appeal. Neutral wall tones are paired with warm wooden finishes, giving the space a sense of comfort and sophistication. Classic European design motifs, such as arched forms and symmetrical lines, are subtly integrated into the structure and furnishings, bringing timeless character without overwhelming the contemporary layout.

Thoughtful Material Selection and Functional Details

Material selection plays a key role in the success of the canteen’s interior design. Durable yet elegant surfaces were chosen to withstand high foot traffic while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
